Passionately Building the BioAG Community

Dear Friends,

Friends, this issue is dedicated to some of our industry leaders and their viewpoints. You will meet most of them in Rio soon! After much anticipation from around the globe, the fourth annual BioAg World Congress is at last convening in beautiful Rio de Janeiro! This event – put on by the industry, for the industry and headed up by passionate BioAg professionals just like you – is only made possible through the collaboration and participation of our global community.

From May 2-5, approximately 200 companies from around the world, united by a common passion, come together to share their latest insights, innovations, business development and discussions under one banner. I am very excited for what lies in store for our attendees and speakers. I am also especially looking forward to the unveiling of our brand-new educational component – BioAg World Academy. You will not regret joining us and walking away with an abundance of new knowledge.

Fittingly, this edition of BioAg World Digest celebrates many of the companies and sponsors who are all essential parts in bringing our Congress to life. Surely you will see their passion leap off these pages as you hear their stories and learn about their grueling efforts that have made BioAg a runaway success in global agriculture.

I am very excited to put a spotlight this time on our friends at Valent BioSciences who have been strong movers and shakers for our industry. Their company passions, projects and timeline are all especially inspiring, and I hope you come to admire them as I do. The discussion we have with president and CEO designate, Salman Mir, I think, is especially insightful as it provides a C-Suite, real life view of the mergers and acquisitions we have witnessed within the past few years.

But that is hardly all we have to celebrate in this edition. We have more stories from other global industry leaders and companies across the board. This includes Acadian Plant Health, Bayer, COMPO EXPERT, Hello Nature, UPL, Kimitec, Valagro and several more. In fact, we had so many you will need to wait until our special post-Congress edition to read them all!

As always, I want to remind our readers that neither the Congress nor Digest is possible without YOU, the INDUSTRY. We hope seeing the stories shared by our partners and sponsors within these pages will inspire you to share yours with our vibrant, growing community.

Remember, we are always taking your news to share and amplify throughout the BioAg community. We also have many, many opportunities for paid advertisements and maximal exposure through our vast network. Let us help you make BioAg the greatest it can be!

We are so glad to have you among us – and I hope our paths cross here in Rio!
