Between July 20 and 24, 2026, representatives from CropLife Brazil (CLB) engaged in high-level institutional meetings designed to strengthen strategic relationships across the agricultural sector. In addition to fostering collaboration with seeds and government sectors, CLB participated in specialized journalism training to reinforce data-driven communication.
Strategic Partnerships and Regulatory Engagements
- ABRASEM Collaboration (July 23): CLB President Ana Repezza met with Ronaldo Troncha, CEO of the Brazilian Association of Seeds and Seedlings (ABRASEM), to discuss priority topics for the seed sector and explore joint institutional initiatives.
- MDIC High-Level Meeting (July 24): Repezza and CLB leadership met with Rodrigo Zerbone, Executive Secretary of the Ministry of Development, Industry, Trade and Services (MDIC), along with representatives from the Secretariat of Green Economy, Decarbonization and Bioindustry (SEV). Discussions focused on regulating the Bioinputs Law and advancing the internationalization of Brazilian solutions through the RENERA hub.
Empowering Agribusiness Journalism
On July 23, Julia Pupe, Bioinputs Regulatory Manager at CLB, spoke at the Valor Journalism in Agro Journey workshop in São Paulo, hosted by Valor Econômico. Pupe provided media professionals with deep insights into the bio-inputs market growth drivers and regulatory advancements, highlighting the importance of data- and science-backed reporting.
