Tom Mohrmann joins REKA as CEO
Leading REKA into its next phase of international growth across regenerative agricultural systems

We are pleased to welcome Tom Mohrmann as Chief Executive Officer of REKA Group. Tom joined us on 1 September 2026 and will lead REKA into its next phase of international growth, with operations in the Netherlands, Spain, India and Kazakhstan.
Building on a strong foundation
Since founding REKA, co-founder Aron Oosthoek has built the company into an international player in regenerative systems for healthier soils, more resilient crops and more sustainable agriculture and horticulture. Aron will continue to play an important role in REKA’s growth, with responsibility for our commercial activities.
“REKA was founded on the belief that healthy soils and resilient crops are essential for the future of our children,” says Aron. “With Tom joining the team, we are adding extensive commercial leadership experience. I look forward to working with him and our colleagues to build the next phase of REKA and bring our solutions to more growers.”
Meet Tom
Tom brings more than 20 years of commercial and leadership experience in FMCG, food and AgriTech. He held management positions at Henkel and Tivall (part of Nestlé). As CEO of Protifarm, he led the company’s international scale-up through to its acquisition. Since then he has worked as an entrepreneur and advisor, helping to build new businesses focused on sustainability. The common thread in his career is growing innovative companies where commercial success and sustainability go hand in hand.
Value for growers first
“Agriculture and horticulture are facing major challenges,” says Tom. “We need to keep producing enough high-quality food while pressure on our soils and natural resources is increasing. I believe biological solutions can make an important contribution.”
