BASF boosts agricultural innovation at Agrodinámica 2025 with integrated solutions for soybeans and corn

BASF has reaffirmed its leadership in Paraguayan agriculture at Agrodinámica 2025. The company presented a robust portfolio of integrated solutions for soy and corn, ranging from advanced seeds and chemical protection to biological treatments like Votivo® Prime, while teasing upcoming innovations in pest and disease control.

Hohenau, Paraguay – December 2025

BASF presents advancements in seeds, crop protection, biologicals, and integrated technologies at Agrodinámica, supporting producers at every stage of cultivation. During the exhibition held in Hohenau, Itapúa from December 2 to 6, the company also announced future launches.

Under the motto “Roots of the Future,” BASF participated in the 29th edition of Agrodinámica, the largest agricultural fair in the country. “Agrodinámica is a key instance to share with producers the solutions we have developed to accompany the current challenges of agriculture, integrating innovation, sustainability, and specialized technical support,” expressed Gabriel Ramos, Agro Paraguay Business Manager.

Key Technologies Showcased:

  • Biologicals: Votivo® Prime, a biological product based on Bacillus firmus for seed treatment in soy, corn, wheat, rice, and cotton, promoting root growth and bionematicide control.
  • Fungicides: Palyvar® and Keyra®, based on the innovative Revysol® molecule for robust control of leaf spots, rust, and powdery mildew.
  • Weed Management: Brontirex®, a pre-planting herbicide with high efficacy against broadleaf weeds.
  • Soy Seeds: Credenz® varieties with INTACTA 2 XTEND® technology.

Future Launches Unveiled

BASF also previewed upcoming innovations, including:

  • Levecto®: A next-generation soybean fungicide based on Pavecto®, the first and only Tetrazolinone on the market, offering unique action against Asian rust and other critical diseases.
  • Melyra®: A corn fungicide formulated with the Revysol® molecule.
  • Efficon® (in registration): An innovative insecticide based on Axalion® (Dimpropyridaz) for efficient management of sucking pests.

“Our strategy focuses on the farmer and the future of agriculture. Today our purpose is to generate added value for the farmer and also for society in general,” highlighted Rodolfo Viana, Marketing Consultant for Paraguay, Bolivia, and Uruguay.

Sustainability remains a pillar of BASF’s strategy. In this edition, the stand incorporated recycled materials and actions promoting the circular economy, aligning with the fair’s support for family farming.
