Bioinput based on three new microorganisms hits the market

Biosphera’s latest innovation, BioVelox, was unveiled during the Coopavel Rural Show in Cascavel-PR. This pioneering bioinput combines three new microbial genera in a single formulation designed to enhance soil-plant interaction.

According to a market survey released by the consultancy 5P2R, Brazil experienced a 10.3% increase in the number of bioinput registrations in 2024 compared to 2023. Inoculants stood out with a remarkable 52% rise, totaling 117 registrations. This trend underscores the continued investment in innovation and research by companies in the sector, such as Biosphera AgroSolutions, based in Londrina, Paraná.

Biosphera is launching BioVelox, a unique formulation incorporating three exclusive microorganisms—new to the Brazilian market—during the Coopavel Rural Show, held from the 10th to the 14th of the month in Cascavel, Paraná.

The bioinput is composed of the bacteria Lactobacillus plantarum and Rhodopseudomonas palustris, along with the yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae. Together, these microorganisms provide a major breakthrough in the sector. Acting in the rhizosphere—the region of intensive interaction between roots, soil, and microorganisms—BioVelox delivers biological reinforcement through complementary modes of action, significantly improving soil-plant dynamics.
