Pivot Bio, one of the world’s most innovative agtech companies, has announced the appointment of Greg Peton as the Regional Sales Leader for its Coastal Region. In this new role, Peton will lead sales operations across a significant geographic territory spanning Texas through the Carolinas and into the Northeast — including key agricultural states like New York, Pennsylvania, and the Delmarva region.

Peton’s responsibilities will include driving adoption of Pivot Bio’s patented crop nutrition technologies among farmers and retail partners. These include the company’s third-generation nitrogen solution for corn, PROVEN® G3, and its newly introduced cotton-focused product, CERT-N®. Together, these innovations have already been adopted across more than 15 million acres in recent seasons, signaling both strong field performance and increasing farmer demand.

Bringing decades of experience in agricultural sales and leadership, Peton’s background spans the seed, crop protection, and agronomy services sectors. Since joining Pivot Bio in 2020, he has served as a National Account Manager, establishing trusted relationships with some of the largest growers in the United States.

Prior to his tenure at Pivot Bio, Peton held senior leadership positions at DuPont Pioneer, Rizobacter, and United Farmers Cooperative, where he served as Chief Sales and Marketing Officer. He was raised on a diversified grain, dairy, and livestock farm in northwest Iowa, grounding his expertise in real-world farming experience.
