Azotic Technologies appoints Sander Pabbruwee as CEO to lead global growth

Azotic Technologies, a specialist in biological nitrogen fixation (BNF), has appointed Sander Pabbruwee as its new Chief Executive Officer. This leadership move comes as the company accelerates efforts to engage more growers worldwide in adopting sustainable agricultural solutions.

Pabbruwee joins the York, UK-based agritech firm from Koppert (Netherlands), where he served as General Manager. He officially assumed the CEO position on April 1, 2025.

Azotic is not only the most cutting-edge business in biological nitrogen fixation, but also one of the most engaging in terms of what its technology platform offers—beyond nitrogen—to farmers and growers around the world,” said Pabbruwee. “I’m excited about joining Azotic and the prospect of leading it through what will prove to be a transformative time not just for us, but for agriculture as a whole.”

Since the launch of Azotic’s debut BNF product, Envita, in the United States seven years ago, the company has reported consistent year-on-year sales growth, with millions of acres of crops treated. According to Stratus Ag Research, Envita is now the third most recognized biological brand among North American farmers.
