BeeHero’s new pre-pollination reports are providing an unprecedented level of hive visibility, strengthening relationships with growers and beekeepers.

BeeHero, the global leader in precision pollination, announced the launch of its services for Australian growers for the third consecutive season. This year, the rollout is supported by the introduction of its pre-pollination reports. As the largest pollination provider worldwide, BeeHero is already collaborating with a significant portion of Australia’s macadamia, canola, almond, avocado, kiwifruit, and berry growers. Their mission: to support local beekeepers and growers with data-driven solutions that enhance commercial pollination transparency and efficacy.

Contributing between AUD 4–6 billion annually to the Australian economy, the commercial pollination industry is crucial to national agriculture. This season, BeeHero will support over 70,000 acres of crops with its in-hive and in-field precision pollination solutions. Earlier expansions include the company’s Australian market entry in 2023 and the opening of a regional office in 2024.

For the first time, select Australian customers will benefit from pre-pollination reports, enabled by year-round monitoring via BeeHero’s in-hive sensors. These reports detail hive health and strength, ensuring growers receive the necessary pollination force from day one. This is especially pertinent given the increasing threat of varroa mite incursions, which pose serious risks to hive health and the pollination labour force.

“BeeHero is now the largest pollination provider in Australia, and we’re continuing to build strong relationships with growers while expanding our pollination services for numerous key crops,” said Clayton Hiskins, Regional Manager of BeeHero Australia.
“We are providing growers never-before-possible visibility into the strength of their hives, ensuring that their orchards will be supported by robust, high-performing colonies from day one.”

A key enabler of this data flow is HeroLink, BeeHero’s proprietary solar‑powered connectivity system. HeroLink delivers reliable cellular coverage to remote agricultural zones, maintaining continuous hive monitoring throughout the year—not just during pollination season.

In addition, BeeHero has launched the Beekeeper Task Manager within their beekeeper app, allowing efficient apiary management—furthering the company’s mission to empower beekeepers and enable data‑backed pollination management. They have also started the Global Million Hives Network, a program to monitor hive health globally, support research, and promote collaboration amidst widespread bee declines.

“Pollination is a complex and often opaque process. Serving as a one‑stop‑shop for all pollination needs allows us to not only support the hardworking local beekeepers and growers feeding the Australian population, but also to best ensure that the quantity and quality of the food they produce is optimal,” said Omer Davidi, CEO and Co-Founder of BeeHero.
“As we continue to expand our presence in Australia, we look forward to fostering even deeper relationships with local growers and beekeepers, building on the transparency and reliability we’ve already established, as well as a shared commitment to sustainable agriculture.”
