MustGrow and Phospholutions Partner to Launch RhizoSorb® Phosphorus Efficiency Technology in Canada

SASKATOON, Saskatchewan | June 10, 2025 – In a strategic move to promote sustainable agriculture and nutrient efficiency, MustGrow Biologics Corp. (TSXV:MGRO) (OTC:MGROF) (FRA:0C0) has announced a new distribution agreement with Phospholutions Inc. for the phosphorus efficiency technology RhizoSorb®. Under this agreement, MustGrow will distribute RhizoSorb® across Canada through its dedicated sales and distribution arm, NexusBioAg.

Phosphorus, the second-most-used nutrient in global food production, often suffers from inefficiencies when applied through traditional fertilizers. Up to 90% of conventional phosphorus inputs are bound in soil and rendered unavailable to crops, leading to excess use, nutrient runoff, and environmental degradation. RhizoSorb® addresses these challenges by offering controlled-release phosphorus availability, improving nutrient uptake while significantly reducing waste and ecological impact.

RhizoSorb® is a patented, dry granular fertilizer enhancement designed to integrate seamlessly with current application methods. It is engineered to replace standard phosphate products such as monoammonium phosphate (MAP) and diammonium phosphate (DAP), while maintaining the same ease of use. Critically, the technology enables farmers to reduce phosphorus application rates by up to 50% without compromising yield performance—often even improving it. This results in estimated savings of up to US$20 per acre for growers through reduced input costs and optimized returns.

Beyond economic benefits, RhizoSorb® delivers compelling environmental advantages. Compared to conventional MAP fertilizers, the product reduces CO₂ equivalent emissions by 45.2%, phosphorus runoff by 78%, and leaching by 84%. Its 38% lower salt index also supports healthier soil biology and long-term land productivity.

“With approximately 94.5 million acres of phosphate-reliant crop production, Canada is a critical market,” said Craig Dick, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Phospholutions. “We are excited to partner with MustGrow to bring this impactful solution to Canadian retailers and growers.”

Hunter Swisher, CEO of Phospholutions, emphasized the strategic nature of the partnership: “This collaboration represents a major step forward in our mission to improve global phosphorus use efficiency. Working with MustGrow supports our broader global expansion while meeting the pressing needs of the Canadian agricultural market.”

Colin Bletsky, COO of MustGrow, added, “Phosphorus efficiency is not just an agronomic issue—it’s a global food security priority. Our partnership with Phospholutions aligns perfectly with MustGrow’s mission to deliver biological and regenerative solutions that replace or enhance conventional agri-inputs in a more sustainable way.”

For agricultural retailers, RhizoSorb® offers logistical and financial advantages as well. Lower input rates translate into reduced storage needs and transportation costs, while delivering higher value products to growers. The technology’s ease of adoption also ensures it can be used with existing equipment and application practices.

This partnership marks another milestone for both companies in their commitment to sustainability, productivity, and innovation in modern farming systems.
