Azotic Technologies Limited, a pioneer in nitrogen-fixing solutions for agriculture, is bringing its latest innovation, Envita WG, to Japan through an exciting new partnership with Hokko. Envita WG, developed using the unique microbe Gluconacetobacter diazotrophicus (Gd), is a groundbreaking biostimulant designed to provide plants with nitrogen throughout the growing season. With a multi-season shelf life, multiple application methods, and compatibility with standard tank mixes, Envita WG offers a versatile and sustainable solution for boosting crop yields.

Hokko, a trusted name in Japan’s agricultural sector for over 70 years, will market Envita WG through its main business partner, ZEN-NOH, Japan’s National Federation of Agricultural Cooperative Associations. This collaboration ensures the product will be widely available to Japanese farmers, empowering them with cutting-edge technology to improve productivity and sustainability.

Speaking about the partnership, Hokko expressed their enthusiasm for Envita WG’s potential: “Adding Envita WG to our array of crop protection products means that we are continuing our objective to bring the very best products to farmers in Japan. We have seen the efficacy of Envita WG and are excited about the yield results farmers will experience by adding Envita WG to their farm management program.”

Envita WG’s unique nitrogen-fixing capability allows crops to access nitrogen directly within plant cells, reducing the reliance on traditional chemical fertilizers. The product is suitable for various crops, including rice, corn, and vegetables, and can be applied as a foliar spray or in-furrow. This adaptability ensures that farmers can integrate it seamlessly into their existing practices, whether they are managing small-scale vegetable farms or large rice paddies.

Phil Bernardin, Global Business Development at Azotic Technologies Limited, highlighted the importance of this milestone for the company: “This is an exciting time for Azotic. Our nitrogen fixation technology continues to demonstrate outstanding results in crop yield. We are pleased to partner with Hokko. This great organization has been in business for over 70 years, and we are confident they can work effectively with the channel to get Envita WG quickly into the hands of farmers.”

The introduction of Envita WG to the Japanese market represents a significant advancement in sustainable agriculture. By providing crops with a consistent supply of nitrogen, Envita WG not only enhances yields but also reduces dependency on chemical inputs, aligning with global efforts to make farming more environmentally friendly.

This partnership between Azotic and Hokko reflects a shared commitment to innovation and sustainability in agriculture. As Envita WG makes its way to farmers across Japan, it brings the promise of higher productivity, better resource efficiency, and a brighter future for the agricultural sector. Together, Azotic and Hokko are set to make a lasting impact on the way farming is practiced, combining tradition and innovation to meet the challenges of tomorrow.
