Meristem 2025 Breakthrough Plot comparisons have confirmed significant ROI for growers, with recent harvest data showing a massive 42.3-bushel per acre increase in corn yield. These trials, conducted in Delavan, Wisconsin, demonstrate the power of Meristem Crop Performance‘s high-yield management systems to produce more bushels for less.

High-yield investments paid off in Meristem® 2025 Breakthrough Plot comparisons

The Breakthrough Plots were harvested Nov. 17 with an impressive 42.3-bushel-per acre increase in corn yield with Meristem products.

DELAVAN, Wis. (AgPR) Dec. 2, 2025 — Meristem dealers from around the country had the chance to see first-hand the value of high-yield management in plots featured at Meristem’s Breakthrough to Excellence event this summer in Delavan, Wis. The recent harvest showcased the results with yield increases across the board in weighted results for Meristem product treatments.

“A chance to walk the plots this summer was one of the many highlights at our premier dealer event of the year in Delavan,” said Mitch Eviston, Meristem founder and CEO. “At Breakthrough to Excellence, our dealers got to see the difference high-yield management paired with the right products can make in overall crop performance. With the harvest results in, we have seen how that investment can really pay off at the end of the season.”

The Breakthrough Plots were harvested Nov. 17 with an impressive 42.3-bushel-per acre increase in corn yield and a 2.6-bushel increase in soybeans with Meristem high-yield programs.

“These types of results really illustrate how Meristem products empower farmers to produce more bushels for less,” Eviston said. “We are seeing results like this in plots and farm fields across the country in 2025. Farmers are finding ways to win with Meristem and benefit the bottom line for their operations, both by reducing costs and by increasing yields.”

Meristem 2025 Breakthrough Plot Yield Data

The Soybean Breakthrough plots were planted on May 14, 2025, using a 2.7 RM soybean variety planted at 140,000 seeds per acre. The previous year crop was corn, with no tillage. The full plot received the same pre- and post-herbicide, and foliar fungicide and insecticide.

Meristem treatments included Excavator® AMS with Cyclestrike™ LR as a fall-applied burndown; Hopper Throttle® MaxStax™ Soybean planter box and co-pack paired with naked, untreated soybean seed; Revline® Early-Season PGR and Harvestshield™ Complete foliar micronutrient application at R1; Revline® Late-Season PGR and Homestretch® NKB-S foliar macronutrient application at R3. The Farmer traditional trial used traditional liquid-seed treatment on the soybean seed.

An additional 6.1-bushel per acre increase was seen on a sub-section of the Meristem trial that received a second application of Homestretch NKB-S for over $80 return on investment compared to the Farmer Traditional treatment.

The Corn Breakthrough plots were planted on May 14, 2025, using a 108-day RM corn hybrid planted at 34,500 seeds per acre. The previous year crop was soybeans, with no tillage. The full plot received the same pre- and post- herbicide, and foliar fungicide and insecticide.

Meristem treatments included Excavator AMS + Cyclestrike LR as a fall-burndown; Hopper Throttle® MaxStax™ Corn planter box and co-pack along with Upshift® C concentrated starter at planting; Revline Early Season PGR and Harvestshield Complete foliar micronutrient application at V3; Revline Late Season PGR and Homestretch NKB-S foliar macronutrient application at VT.

Corn receiving the Meristem treatment was greener, taller and healthier in appearance early in the growing season. With the large yield advantage, the Meristem trial showed nearly an $80 per acre return on investment.
